The study investigated how a religious social movement organizing happens in the context of environmental protection. It described the organizing process of the Concerned Citizens of Obando (CCO), an anti-landfill movement in Obando, Bulacan. Specifically, the study aimed for the following: 1) to describe the organizing process of the religious social movement; 2) to enumerate the outcomes of the religious social movement; 3) to describe the contribution of the fisherfolks in the organizing process of the religious social movement; and 4) to recommend ways towards an inclusive social movement organizing towards environmental protection.
