This study explored the lives of student activists from the University of the Philippines Diliman. A description of the present situation of student activism in U.P. Diliman necessarily involved a discussion of the Philippine’s current sociopolitical context. The study was driven to answer the following questions:

  • What is the current socio-political context student activists from the University of the Philippines, Diliman have to work within?
  • What factors motivated or influenced these students to get actively involved with the student movement?
  • What are their activities as student activists?
  • How do they manage their time and other resources?
  • What are their significant concerns and problems as student activists?
  • What are their insights on the future (vision) of student activism?
