Weaving Perceptions: The Struggle of Cordilleran Students in UP Diliman and Trinity College Towards Rediscovering Their Roots and Chartering Their Future

Some young people from the Cordillera come to Metro Manila to finish a degree. Their exposures to a different community and culture have effects on their identities, their perception of themselves and their realities. What issues about the Cordillera do these students know? How do they perceive these issues? Have these perceptions changed now that they are outside their native provinces and studying in Metro Manila? How much do these students know about the realities and issues of their communities back in the Cordillera? How do they respond to it? What factors influence their awareness and actions?
