Category: Researches  Published: 1981  Pages: 131  Language: English
 Description:

This project was initiated in response to students’ calls for improvements in the curriculum, particularly in field practice, with a focus on enhancing social work in rural areas where socio-economic support is often lacking. Its objectives include providing students with hands-on experience in rural settings to develop their competencies as social workers committed to rural development, while also allowing faculty to engage directly in rural social work to enhance their teaching skills. Additionally, the project aims to foster collaboration between students and faculty to raise community awareness of social realities and self-reliance, assisting rural populations in identifying their needs, forming viable groups, and training local leaders for development initiatives. Through these efforts, the project aspires to create a meaningful impact on both education and the socio-economic conditions of rural communities.
