The study focused on the question: What are the factors that affect students in making decisions on their course preference?

The following major objectives were formulated for the study:
1. To identify the freshmen of AY 1995-1996 who have transferred to other degree programs as well as those that have stayed in their respective degree programs.
2. To determine the factors that influenced the students in their decision whether to stay in the college or shift to another course.
3. To determine their perceptions about their course and of CSWCD.
