Report 7: Images of Filipino Women at Work – Insights into the Lives of Quarry Women Doing Manual Labor in Barangay San Rafael, Rodriguez, Rizal

This research focuses on the effect of working manually in quarrying on the women’s self-image and their relationships with the community, their workplace and their family. Its objectives are to record the step-by-step process involved in manual quarrying, and generally to try to explain and analyze how manual quarry work influences the lives of women. The study gives attention on women who are residing in San Rafael, Rodriguez, Rizal, tackling the long been disregarded plight of women in quarrying work.
