There have been very few studies conducted on this marginalized sector. With this in mind, the researchers wanted to contribute to the scarce literature written on them, even more, to show how a community-based organization, as unique as BBMC can empower PWDs into creating a sustainable business and service enterprise which right now are being replicated nationwide.
