 Description:

The proposed project aims to address the pressing poverty and social challenges in Quezon City, where approximately 41% of the population are informal settlers, and significant numbers struggle to meet basic needs. As of 2006, nearly 28.44% of families lived below the poverty threshold, with many facing food insecurity. Health issues are prevalent, with high rates of child malnutrition and morbidity linked to preventable diseases, compounded by insufficient reproductive health services. Educationally, while enrollment rates are relatively high, there is a concerning drop-out rate, particularly among children from the poorest families. The project seeks to implement targeted interventions in health, nutrition, and education to improve living conditions, reduce poverty, and enhance the well-being of families in Quezon City.
