The researchers had speculated about the probability of these two paradigms (the church and social work) as having a common vision
and mission.
Consequently, a question began to shape up in our minds. Could it be possible that the building of BEC is a form of social work unknown to the lay people? Could it be stated that the BEC organizers and the social workers belong to the same type of service addressing the needs of others?
Hoping to see the connection between the BEC and social work, this study would examine a concrete BEC experience in a community.
