The study now examines the perception of the T’boli youth towards the T’nalak practice and draws out possible implications to cultural preservation and livelihood sustainability. Moreover, the research also looks at the historical development of the practice to trace the root of their perceptions. The study is a qualitative research that uses narrative inquiry to present a precise elucidation of T’boli youth’s views and experiences. Semi-structured interviews were facilitated among fifteen (15) T’boli youth to elicit their knowledge, sentiments and participation on the T’nalak practice.
