This proposal aims to build on the findings of Phase I of the Mission-Oriented Program, titled “Patterns and Trends in Child Labor Utilization.” In Phase I, 36 case studies were conducted, examining children working in various sectors, including vegetable plantations in Benguet, street work in Metro Manila, and domestic and factory employment in Rizal and Bulacan. The primary objective of Phase I was to understand the nature of child labor, serving as a preliminary step toward a more comprehensive survey of the incidence and characteristics of child labor in Phase II.
