The study would like to delve into people empowerment through the local development council in a municipality a true picture of what is
stated on the Local Government Code or RA 7160. This study would like to focus into 3 major undertakings: (1) the processes in involving local stakeholders in the Municipal Development Council (MDC), (2) the involvement in the planning and development of MDC, and (3) how equipped MDC members are in terms of local development planning.
