Description:
The Office of Continuing Education (OCE), established by the Institute of Social Work and Community Development (ISWCD) in 1972, has been dedicated to university extension work by developing training courses for indigenous community leaders and social development workers. Over the past decade, OCE has gained valuable insights and experiences in conducting training activities, which have led to the formulation of a comprehensive training guideline. This guideline synthesizes learned principles from practical experiences and serves as a documentation of the Office’s journey. Initiated during Dr. Amaryllis T. Torres’s tenure as Coordinator, the document aims to support the increasing number of trainers committed to serving the Filipino people effectively.
