PAGSIBOL: Community Organizing After Yolanda

The recovery work from the destruction brought about by Typhoon Yolanda seemed overwhelming at the start. From the accounts of community organizers from the 7 DSACs (Diocesan Social Action Centers) and 2 RRUS (Relief and Rehabilitation Units), the first months of project implementation of the CO-REACH (Community Organizing – Recovery Assistance to Vulnerable Communities Affected by Haiyan) program was a kind of trial and error. But as the work moved forward, the direction of the recovery process became clearer.
