This project proposal aims to harness the inspirational legacy of Corazon C. Aquino, whose rise from housewife to the 7th President of the Philippines exemplifies the untapped potential of women worldwide. Despite her symbolic triumph, women continue to face systemic discrimination and are often relegated to second-class status, with their contributions and voices marginalized in national development. The proposal advocates for the transformative power of organized women’s movements, which have historically driven social change by enhancing women’s consciousness and mobilizing them to address their own challenges. Through a cycle of action, reflection, and action, this project seeks to leverage both theoretical insights and practical strategies to achieve meaningful structural change and amplify women’s roles in society.
