The Committee for a University Center for Women Studies is working towards the formal establishment of a U.P. Women’s Center by 1990. There is an urgent need to disseminate information about the Center, advocate for its mission, and provide a shared understanding of women’s studies among committee members. To facilitate program development, the committee plans to conduct a Summer Workshop as a first step to enhance knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to women’s studies.
